Congratulations on your new vehicle purchase! Before making calls or playing music in your car, you’ll need to connect your mobile device to Honda’s HandsFree Link. To connect Bluetooth in a
Tap the Settings button on the Home screen of your CR-V’s multimedia screen.
Tap Bluetooth.
Select the Bluetooth device list and then click Add a Bluetooth Device.
On your mobile device, scroll to the Bluetooth menu and ensure it’s activated and discoverable.
Click Search on your Honda CR-V multimedia screen and scan with your phone.
When your Honda finds your phone, select your device from the screen.
A PIN will appear on the screen and your device—confirm they match.
You will also need to confirm what information you want your Honda system to access from your phone.
Your phone is now synced with your 2015 Honda CR-V! You will receive a confirmation message on your car’s screen.
But before you pair your device, here are some tips to keep in mind:
Pairing a mobile device is not possible when the vehicle is moving.
You can pair up to six phones with Honda’s Bluetooth system.
The battery on your phone may drain faster when connected to HandsFree Link.
If your phone is not ready for pairing or not found by your Honda within three minutes, the system will time out and return to the Bluetooth Settings screen.
