How do you connect Bluetooth to a Dodge Charger?

My son bought me a Dodge Charger as a retirement gift, which I love—but I’m not great with technology. I want to stream music from my phone while driving, but I can’t figure out how to connect. How do you connect Bluetooth to a Dodge Charger?

There’s nothing like listening to some great tunes while cruising in a muscle car! Using Bluetooth in a
Dodge Charger
isn’t too difficult, but could be a little unintuitive if you’re not familiar with Dodge’s UConnect system.
Here’s what you need to do:
  • Check your smartphone’s settings and make sure you have Bluetooth enabled.
  • Turn on your car, and use your digital dashboard to select Phone and then Add Device.
  • Open the Bluetooth menu on your phone.
  • Select your Dodge Charger from the list.
As long as you’ve followed these steps correctly, your phone will automatically pair with your car, and you can begin using it to make and receive calls or texts, access navigation, and of course, listen to music! If your Dodge Charger is a newer model, you’ll also have access to both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which allow you to control music streaming programs right from your infotainment system!
If for some reason your phone doesn’t connect to your car, the first thing you should do is try repeating the steps above. If that doesn’t work, reset your phone by turning it off and then on again—in many cases Bluetooth connectivity issues are actually caused by the smartphone, rather than the car.
