What’s the best way to clean a BMW TFT screen? I know you can damage the screen if you don’t clean them correctly, but there are so many fingerprints on it!

You’re right—it’s easy to damage your screen while cleaning! Here are some tips to help you clean your
BMW
’s TFT screen without damaging it:- Use a microfiber cloth, not a paper towel, newspaper, or rough fabric.
- Don’t use a store-bought cleaner or glass cleaners containing ammonia or alcohol.
- Opt for plain water. If you have particularly dirty areas on your screen, you can add a few drops of vinegar to the water.
- Spray the water onto your towel, not onto the screen itself. Too much water can damage TFT screens.
- Don’t use too much pressure when you wipe the screen. It makes it easier to scratch the plastic if small particles are trapped on the surface.
When you’re done, wipe down the area around your screen, too. Doing so helps to keep your screen dust-free for a little longer.
