How do you charge a Fiat 500e battery?

I recently got a new Fiat 500e and feel a little lost. I've never had anything but cars with traditional combustion engines. How am I supposed to charge this thing? I assume I don't just plug it in like a lamp, right?

It can take some getting used to when you first change to a fully-electric vehicle. But the charging process is pretty simple once you know what to do. Here’s how tp charge a
Fiat 500e
battery:
  • Put your Fiat in park
  • Lift the rear cargo hold charge cover. Inside, you’ll find the standard level one charger that comes with the car
  • Uncoil the charge cord and plug it into a standard 120-volt outlet. Make sure that you don’t use any extension chords and that the circuit behind the outlet you’re using isn’t already overused
  • It will take about 23 hours for the Fiat 500e to charge from 0% to 100%
If you want a faster and more convenient charging experience, it’s recommended that you invest in a 240-volt level 2 garaged installed charging station.
And that’s it!
