and locate the oil filter on the lower right side of the engine.
Carefully, remove the filter by using a wrench to turn it counterclockwise.
Put a little bit of fresh oil on the edge of your new filter, then tighten it into place using your hands.
Make sure that all of the old oil has drained into the pan, then replace the drain plug. Set your 14-mm torque wrench to 32 ft-lbs when you do this to ensure that the plug is properly tightened.
Under the hood, find the oil filler cap and remove it by twisting it counterclockwise.
Use a funnel to add new oil to your engine. Start with five quarts of oil.
Turn on your truck and let it idle for five minutes before turning off the engine.
Use the dipstick to make sure that you have the right amount of oil in your vehicle.
