Sorry to hear that that happened to you. The cost to buff out a scratch depends on the type of scratch—scuff, clear coat, primer, or deep coat scratch— and what your body shop charges. To get an idea, here are some approximate prices for buffing out a scratch:

- $2,500 for a deep paint scratch
