I got pulled over the other day because my license plate bulb burned out. I already have a spare bulb at home, but I have no idea how to replace the old one. What’s the easiest way to change the license plate bulb in my Ford F-150?

Changing the license plate bulb in your
Ford F-150
may seem daunting, but it’s actually an easy project! Follow these steps to change your license plate bulb on your Ford F-150:- Turn off your car and pull the handbrake to stop it from rolling away or shocking you.
- Use a small flathead screwdriver to pry up the bulb fixture.
- Unplug the fixture.
- Remove the old bulb by firmly pulling it from the fixture.
- Attach your new bulb to the fixture.
- Plug the assembly back into the car.
- Snap the light fixture into place.
Remember, the fixture will likely be hard to remove. If you can, wear gloves for extra traction and protection.
