Changing the cabin air filter in your
Toyota Camry
regularly will help get rid of the musty smell and improve air quality in the vehicle.
To change a Toyota cabin air filter, follow these steps:
  1. Open the glove box.
  2. Remove the dampener arm located on the left-hand side of the interior of the glove box.
  3. Pinch both sides of the glove box inward.
  4. Behind the glove box on the left-hand side, you should see the cabin air filter housing.
  5. Unclip both sides of the housing cover to remove it.
  6. Remove the old filter from the housing.
  7. Place the new filter into the housing and reclip the housing.
  8. Put the glove box back in place.
  9. Rehook the dampener arm, and you’re done!
