Press and slide the metal key release button, then slide the key out
Open the key fob using a flathead screwdriver or the key itself
To keep the contents and external buttons from falling out, press your thumb down just above the battery

Replace the battery in the same position. Use the key fob’s positive (+) and negative (-) indications as the reference
Align the key fob’s two halves and gently press until they pop back together.
