I love emus and think the LiMu emu commercials are hysterical. I know that they can be pretty stubborn and am wondering how they get the emu to cooperate. How do they film the LiMu emu commercials?

Emus are some pretty wild creatures, and you’re not the only one who’s curious as to how those commercials come to be!
The LiMu emu commercials are filmed with a combination of several emus and some amazing special effects. Three different emus are used—generally they have one that’s better at standing still, one that’s better at running, etc—and will utilize them all depending on what’s needed. Later on, rendering and CGI effects are done in post production.
In real life, there is very little interaction between the emus and the human actor, as most of the interactions are filmed with green screen technology.
One thing that’s not smoke and mirrors is the amazing savings you’ll get when you shop with insurance
