I’m loving just about everything about Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 so far. I’ve learned to change the oil, but I need to run a diagnostic on a car. How can I use the OBD scanner in the game?

Just like in real life, an OBD (on-board diagnostic) scanner can find out what’s wrong with a vehicle. Plus it’s just as easy to use in reality as it is on the game. To use the OBD scanner in Car Mechanic Simulator 2018, follow these steps:
Right-click anywhere on the screen and select Examine Tools.
From here, you’ll see the OBD scanner on the top. Click on it.
A virtual version of an OBD scanner should appear.
This will then bring up an Examined Parts Report to help you on your quest to fix the vehicle.
