What a great parent you are! You can transfer your Ford factory warranty by contacting your local Ford dealership.
Ford service plans are transferable. To transfer your Ford factory warranty to a new owner, you must contact your local Ford dealership. Both selling and non-selling dealerships can perform contract transfers.
You will likely have to pay a transfer fee before signing over your warranty to a new owner. The size of the fee varies from state to state. Also, if you are paying for your maintenance plan via the Installment Payment Plan, you must pay off your contract in full before completing the transfer.
