and remove the engine cover, air box, air tube, and battery.
Disconnect the wires that connect to the EGR valve and tube, the map sensor, and the idle hose. You’ll need to have these unplugged so you can access the alternator.
Unbolt the tension harness connected to the alternator
Your alternator is held down by three bolts: one on each side and one in the back, unbolt all three of these bolts.
Take out the old alternator and replace it with your new one.
Re-bolt the three bolts you took out earlier to hold your new alternator in place
Reconnect everything you disconnected earlier, and reinstall the battery
