How do I remove the center console in my Honda Accord?
I dropped my wedding ring inside the center console of my 2007 Accord and I can’t fit my hand in to pull it out. Can I remove the center console enough to grab my ring?

Oh, no—I’m so sorry that happened! Luckily, it shouldn’t be too complicated to get your wedding ring back.
To remove the center console of a Honda Accord:
Use a pry tool to take the ashtray out of the console. This will expose two Phillips screws. Unscrew and remove them in order to loosen the trim around the gear selector. Then, use your pry tool to lift the trim out.
Remove the cigarette lighter panel, and disconnect the power supply by pressing down on the plastic connector clip on the cable. Pull the cigarette lighter compartment out of the console.
Remove the two screws now visible on either side of the center console.
Raise the parking brake handle and remove the cupholder compartment. It is held in with clips and will come loose with a little jiggling.
Open the center armrest and remove the two screws in the bottom of the compartment.
Unlock the gear shift with the manual release, and place it in the P position. This will allow you to lift the entire center console up and around the handbrake and gear lever.
After you lift up the center console, you should be able to retrieve your ring, which likely fell into the space between the base of the handbrake and gear selector.
