After ensuring that your headlights are switched to off, follow these steps to remove your Ford Ranger headlight so you can install a new one:
Pop your hood and find the two bolts on either side of the headlight assembly. This is what holds it to the body of the vehicle. Use a ratchet wrench to remove the bolts and set them aside.
Remove the two screws on the top of the lamp assembly, and carefully pull the headlight away from the body of the truck.
Disconnect the wiring bundles, and proceed to fully remove the headlight.
To install the new headlight assembly, repeat these steps in reverse order, making sure that you tighten everything properly and test the new light for functionality before getting back on the road.
Just like that, you’ve replaced the headlight assembly in your Ford Ranger!
