Having your children grow up and become more independent is a bittersweet moment. However, removing her car from your insurance shouldn’t cause any additional stress.
After removing her car, decide if you need to remove your daughter from the policy. If she still lives with you and may occassionally drive your car, leave her as a driver. If she never drives your car, see about listing her as an excluded driver. She’s still on your policy as a household member, but her driving record shouldn’t impact your rate.
