Are insurance companies open on weekends?

My dealership said I can pick up my car tomorrow. It's the weekend and I don't have insurance yet. How can I get insurance on the weekend?

offices are typically closed on Saturdays and Sundays, but that doesn’t mean you’re out of luck.

Go online or call: If you need to insure a new car on the weekend, you should be able to purchase a new policy online or by phone. Most major car insurance companies offer online services, as well as extended customer service hours on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Get a quote from the app: You should be able to purchase a quote directly from an insurance company’s website or app. If you have any questions about coverage or policies, you can also call the company’s customer service department. A customer service agent should be able to answer your questions and also issue you a new policy.
