To install a cold air intake, remove the air tube from the throttle body, remove the MAF sensor and the air box, and then install the new air filter.
Start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal. Then, you can start to remove the old parts including the air tube, factory air box, and intake.
To secure the new air filter to the tube, use a hose clamp. Then, feed the other end of the tube through the air box. Follow the instructions in your kit carefully.
Once you have reinstalled the MAF sensor and bolted on the lid, you’re ready to reconnect the battery. Give it a few minutes to idle before you take it for a glorious new ride!
