How do I improve my night vision while driving?
I recently moved to the city, where I thought that it would be easier to see at night since the streets are brighter. But if anything, it seems worse! Is there anything I can do to improve my night vision while I’m driving?

Everyone thinks brighter lights mean it’s easier to see when driving at night. But as you’ve learned, that simply isn’t the case!
To improve your night vision while driving, you can try
wiping down your windshield
both inside and outside. Built-up dust and dirt can exacerbate glare and make it more difficult to see.You may also benefit from turning down your interior lights. Overly bright
lights on your dashboard
can cause issues, as well.If it turns out that it’s not the car that’s the problem, you may want to talk to a doctor or optometrist. Worsening night vision can be a symptom of an underlying condition, including a vitamin A deficiency, glaucoma, or other health issues.
Oh, and skip the yellow glasses. There’s no actual evidence that they work.
