How do I get rid of the urine smell in my car? Recently my partner and I decided to go on a road trip with our son. Our son is going through the transition from diapers to regular children’s underwear. Yesterday, our son had an accident and peed on the car seat.

Here is the step-by-step guide to getting your seat to smell fresh again.
Materials you’ll need:
- Vinegar
- Detergent
- Water
- Spray bottle
- Soft clothes
Step one: Pour one part vinegar and one part liquid soap in a spray bottle. Add water but only enough to make the solution lather properly.
Step two: Spray the mixture on the dirty surface. Do not drench the car seat.
Step three: Use a soft cloth to scrub the area sprayed.
Step four: Continue until it’s clean.
Step four: Use a damp cloth to wipe off the foam residue.
Step five: Blot out the water with a dry cloth.
Step six: Let it dry naturally.
