How do you get grease stains out of a car seat?
My car was acting strangely a few days ago, so when I got home, I popped the hood to see what the issue was. I fiddled around in the engine for about an hour, then decided I needed to take it to the mechanic. When I got in the car, I smeared oil and grease everywhere. How can you get grease off car fabric?

Grease or oil stains in a car are almost inevitable—it’s going to happen at some point. Luckily, there are some very simple ways you can get grease stains out of a car seat.
- If the grease is still wet, use corn starch or talcum powder. Blot up as much of the grease as you can with a paper towel, then sprinkle the corn starch or talcum powder over the area. Let it sit for eight to 10 hours, then vacuum the powder up.
- If the grease is dried on or stains remain after following the steps above, use WD-40. Scrape up as much grease as you can, then apply some WD-40 to the stain with a rag. Follow that with a small amount of dish soap on a fresh rag to clean the area.
