I park under a tree with several bird nests in it. I didn’t think much of it at the time—but now my car is covered in bird poop! What’s the best way to get bird poop off my car paint without damaging it?

Yuck! Bird poop isn’t only a nuisance, but it’s highly acidic and can harm your car paint! Luckily, you can safely remove bird poop from your car paint with one of these methods**:
Spray WD-40 on the dried-on bird poop stains and let it sit for a few seconds to a minute. Then spray down the area with a hose. Just like that, your car should be clean! Of course, you can apply a second round for tougher stains.
Pour carbonated water over the bird poop, and let it sit for a few minutes. The carbonation will soften the poop—making it easy to wipe up and rinse off.
Soak a microfiber cloth in a paint-safe cleaner and lay it over the bird droppings to help soften them. After a few minutes, the poop should be easy to wipe away.
