I want to check my car insurance coverage so I can see what I currently have and compare it when I’m shopping around for new insurance. I know the declaration page has all this information, but I’m not sure where to find it. Where can I get my car insurance declaration page?

Getting your insurance declaration page to find out what
types of insurance coverage
you have is super easy. You can find your insurance declaration page either in your email or in the packet mailed to you when you signed up for car insurance.When you get a new policy, the insurer will send you this packet in the mail or electronically. If you got it in the mail, it’s a large envelope that contains all of the fine print, coverage limits, and underwriting. It’s typically about 20 to 30 pages, so it shouldn’t be hard to find.
If you got your car insurance documents electronically, check your email by using the search function. Just type in the name of the insurance company and you should find your declarations page and other documentation. Make sure to check your spam and trash folders to err on the side of caution.
