How do I fix my car's broken visor?
After yanking a little too hard, my car's driver-side visor broke off! I'd love to fix this at home instead of taking it into the shop. Any tips on fixing my car's broken visor?

“If your visor has loosened or broken, you can fix it at home. Your car insurance likely
won’t cover this repair
. If the visor is merely loose, tighten all the screws holding the visor to the roof. If the clips that hold the visor are still loose, use rubber bands to tighten the clips’ grip on the visor.
If the visor is completely broken, the process will be a bit more involved.
- Detach the visor from your vehicle.
- Using a hand drill, drill a new hole a half inch under the bar.
- Using two washers, a nut, and a bolt, tighten in a new bolt until the visor is firm.
- Repeat this step with a second hole a few inches to really ensure your visor will stay in place.
