How do I fix front-end car damage?

I bumped my beloved Prius into a high curb the other day, and now my car has some minor front-end damage. This sucks! How can I fix front-end car damage at home?

I’m sorry to hear about your Prius—we hope it’s okay! It might be difficult to fix this at home unless you’ve got some serious car knowledge.
Front-end damage can refer to many different potential issues. Front-end damage can harm your tires, vehicle frame, fenders, headlights, grille, bumpers, hood, engine, and more!
If the damage is purely cosmetic, you can either ignore it or try and buff it out. For more serious issues, some of which may affect the drivability of your vehicle, you’ll probably want to get your car checked out by a mechanic. Safety first!
We’ve got good news, however—if you’ve got
collision insurance
, this front-end damage is likely covered.
File a claim
and get reimbursed (although it’s worth weighing this payout against the potential change in your insurance premium).
