How do I fix a service engine soon light?

If your liquids are topped off, and you’ve recently taken your car to a mechanic, but your light is still on, you may need to reset the light with a diagnostic scanner or a combination of codes for your vehicle. You can look in your owner’s manual for the specific code to reset your service engine soon light.
