Cracks in leather seats are a common occurrence. One way to fix a cracked leather seat at home is to do the repairs with liquid leather.
Liquid leather is a mix of filler material, adhesive, and dye that fills in cracks and matches the leather color. You can buy liquid leather online or in-stores—just make sure it’s a match for the color of your leather!
Once you’ve got your materials:
  • Wipe down the seat with leather cleaning solution to get it ready.
  • Next, dilute the liquid leather with water and use a sponge to apply the liquid leather to the cracks.
  • Once it dries, apply another layer.
  • Repeat this process until you’re satisfied with the results.
Once everything is dry and looking good, use leather conditioner to finish the job! This will prevent cracks in the future.
