BMW’s Basic New Vehicle Limited Warranty will cover your vehicle for four years or 50,000 miles. But if you can’t remember the exact date of purchase, you can easily find out when your warranty expires by first locating your BMW’s Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
Your VIN—which is unique to every vehicle—contains information about your car’s vehicle type, manufacturer, and it can even reveal where your BMW was manufactured. You can find your VIN plate or sticker in a few places, including on your windshield under the wiper blade on the driver’s side or under the hood. Once you figure out your VIN, take note of how many miles you have on your odometer, and then call your local BMW dealership to find out when your warranty expires.
