I’m sorry to hear about your car. Luckily, there are a couple of easy ways to find out what your car warranty covers.
Contact your dealership: Your dealership should have all the answers you’re looking for provided you give them your vehicle identification number (VIN). It is likely located on the driver’s side of the windshield or on your door jamb. Look for a combination of numbers and letters.
Browse CARFAX: If the dealership was no help or if you couldn’t find your VIN, then you could get your vehicle’s history report through CARFAX. This report often lists the car’s warranty information, too.
