How do I delete a Bluetooth device from a Honda CR-V from 2015?

I thought that when I brought home the 2015 Honda CR-V I bought used that it would have had the infotainment system wiped. But it seems like there are still devices on here. How do I delete the Bluetooth devices from my CR-V?

It makes sense that you want to start fresh with your new vehicle! To delete a Bluetooth device from a 2015
Honda CR-V
, follow these steps:
  • Park your Honda in a safe location and turn off the engine.
  • Make sure your phone is on and has Bluetooth enabled.
  • On the Honda’s multimedia screen, tap Settings.
  • Select Bluetooth.
  • Select Bluetooth Device List.
  • Tap the device you wish to remove.
  • Select Delete This Device.
  • Confirm by tapping Yes.
To pair your own device, return to the Bluetooth Device List and tap Add Bluetooth Device. Or, you can return to the main menu screen and select the Phone icon—the screen will ask if you want to add a device and will proceed to pair once you select Continue. Follow the prompts on the Honda screen and on your device to confirm the pairing, and you’re all set!
In addition to letting you stream your road trip playlist, pairing your phone with your Honda’s Bluetooth can also help you drive safely! Having hands-free features in place cuts down on
distracted driving
, helping prevent tickets and
car insurance
rate increases. Pretty great, right?
