To connect to Ford Flex
Bluetooth, pair your phone to the car. Not all Ford Flex cars have Bluetooth, so ask the dealer or seller whether the car is compatible. If it’s equipped, pairing is relatively straightforward. You should only need to perform this process once.
Start by turning on your phone’s Bluetooth. Then, turn on your Ford Flex and press the Phone button. It should be located on your steering wheel or center console. Choose ‘Settings’ and then ‘Add Device’.
Now, look at your phone. Look for “Ford Flex” on the list of available devices. Tap it to pair.
You may be asked to enter a passcode to confirm the connection between the two devices. It may be 0000, 1234, or a code in your owner’s manual.
Once your phone is connected, you’re all set! Your contacts will automatically sync to your Flex so you can make and accept hands-free calls while driving.
Note that older vehicles may require ongoing software updates to ensure Bluetooth compatibility. This may entail bringing your vehicle to a Ford dealer, but updates like this are generally free of charge.
