I’m borrowing a friend’s car for the weekend and want to connect to Bluetooth. How do I connect Bluetooth to a BMW 750li?

To connect Bluetooth to a BMW 750li, add a new device in the iDrive menu and pair your device.

First, make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device. Now, go to:

The iDrive screen

Navigate to COM

Mobile Devices

New Device.

You will have to select from several options regarding how you plan to use your device.

Next, look on your mobile device and select the BMW from the Bluetooth menu. Once pairing has begun, look for a confirmation on the iDrive screen. You may need to confirm a PIN and press “Yes” to confirm.

If you get stuck, try looking in the owner’s manual for more instructions. Your local BMW dealer could probably help, too. Remember to unpair and delete your device before you give the car back!
