What’s the Jeep Grand Cherokee’s clearance height?
I’ve been driving an older Jeep Grand Cherokee and I think it’s time to trade it in for a new model. However, I want to make sure the height clearance on the new models is about the same as my old ones. What’s the Jeep Grand Cherokee’s height clearance?

The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee’s height clearance is 8.4 inches. However, there are a couple of ways to get a higher height clearance from your Grand Cherokee:
- Air suspension: when using the air suspension feature on your Grand Cherokee, the height clearance becomes 10.9 inches.
- Trailhawk: the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk edition has a height clearance of 11.3 inches
The standard 8.4 inches of height clearance you get from the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee is usually sufficient for all your off-roading needs. However, if you want a little extra clearance, use the air suspension feature or opt for the Trailhawk edition.
