To connect Bluetooth to a BMW 320i, you will need a passkey in your owner’s manual. Find this number first, as you’ll have a very short window to put it into the system.
First, make sure that your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on. Now, start your BMW. If it has Bluetooth capability, it should automatically enter pairing mode.
On your Bluetooth device, search for devices. The BMW Bluetooth should appear with a name that starts with “BMW.” You will have 20 seconds to enter the passkey, which you can find in your owner’s manual or a rear covered compartment on the left-hand side of the inner trunk, on a label with the PH prefix.
Then, the radio display should confirm that you are connected.
