How do I check the tire pressure on a Nissan Altima from 2012?
I think one of my tires is lower than the others, and I want to check to see for myself. How do you check the tire pressure of a 2012 Nissan Altima?

If your Altima’s Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) detects low tire pressure, the dashboard warning light will illuminate to let you know. And depending on your model, your instrument cluster may display each tire’s air pressure.
Either way, you can check the tire pressure of a Nissan Altima from 2012 by following these steps:
- Double-check with your owner’s manual to find the correct air pressure for your specific model. You can also find out by looking at the sticker placed on the door frame. For most 2012 Altimas, the recommended tire pressure is 32 to 33 psi for every tire.
- Remove the valve stem cap from your tire. Insert atire pressure gaugeonto the exposed stem. The gauge will reveal the reading for that tire.
- Do this for each tire on your vehicle, and adjust the tire pressure as needed to reach the correct amount.
