How do I change the car headlight bulb in my Toyota Corolla?
The passenger low-beam headlight bulb in my 2006 Corolla stopped working the other night. What steps should I take to change the headlight bulb in my car?

A broken headlight can be annoying to deal with, but they aren’t too hard to change. Before you start changing the bulb, look through your owner’s manual to find out which type of bulb you should buy. Once you identify the right one, follow these instructions to change the headlight bulb in your Corolla:
- Pop the hood and locate the grey bulb connector in the rear center of the passenger headlight assembly.
- Turn it counterclockwise and pull it directly out from its socket. Unhook the blue power connector clip with a pry tool or your fingers and pull the connector from the base of the bulb.
- Replace the bulb and reattach the power connector and its holding clip.
- Reinstall the bulb by turning it clockwise in the headlight assembly.
Make sure you don’t touch the glass of the bulb during installation.
