How do I change the cabin air filter in a 2008 Honda Accord?
My air conditioning system smells funny when I turn it on. How can I change my cabin air filter to get rid of this smell in my 2008 Honda Accord?

Honda Accord
. Here’s how you do it:- Open the glove box. Push both arms of the glove box towards each other and pull down.
- Detach its retaining arm by pinching the clip that connects its two ends. This will cause the glove box to drop down and expose the cabin air filter compartment.
- To access the air filter, push on the two clips holding the air filter in place and slide out the holder.
- Remove the old filter and insert a new one
- Replace the air filter holder, sliding it in until it clicks into place.
- Lift the glove box and reattach the loose ends of the retaining arm.
- Close the glove box.
Just like that, you’ve changed the cabin air filter in your Honda Accord! Hopefully, this gets rid of the funky smell coming from your air vents. If it doesn’t, consider visiting a mechanic for an inspection. There may be an underlying issue that’s causing the funky smell.
