How do I cancel my Esurance auto insurance online?
I've had Esurance for my car for awhile, but my twins just got their driver's licenses, and while I could afford adding one of them to our current policy, I can't afford to add both. Before I start looking for a new provider, though, I want to cancel my current insurance (preferably online, since I don't have a lot of time in the day to wait around on the phone). How do I get started with canceling my insurance online?

Congrats on your twins’ new licenses! Unfortunately, Esurance does not allow you to cancel your insurance online.
Instead, you’ll have to:
- Secure a newcar insurancefirst, before you cancel your Esurance policy—having a lapse of insurance for even a few days can increase the rate of insurance going forward.
- Cancel your Esurance policyby calling the company’s toll-free number (1-800-378-7262).
