How do I add someone to my GEICO car insurance?
My girlfriend just moved in and I want to add her to my GEICO policy. How do I add someone to my car insurance?

- If you have an online account with GEICO, use their Policyholder Service Center to add drivers and vehicles to your policy.
- If you prefer to speak to someone, you can call GEICO’s customer service at 1-800-207-7847.
You’ll need to provide the following information for the new driver:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Driver’s license number
If you’re adding her vehicle to your car insurance policy, you’ll also need its VIN (
vehicle identification number
). GEICO may also ask for her Social Security number and if she’s had any recent tickets or accidents.Once you provide them with the necessary information, they can add her to the policy and give you an updated rate.
