Congratulations to your brother! That’s a big milestone for him—and for you! Adding someone to your car insurance, I’m happy to say, is nowhere near as difficult as getting your license.
The first step is to contact your provider, and let them know you’re adding him to your policy. You’ll want to have the following information handy when you do:
Full name
Date of birth
Gender
Social Security Number
Occupation (you would probably put student)
How long they’ve had their license
Any recent traffic tickets or accidents
