How do I add an interested party to Progressive renters insurance policy?

I just moved, and my new landlord wants to be listed as an interested party on my insurance. What’s an interested party—-and how do I add my landlord as an interested party to my Progressive renters insurance policy?

An interested party is someone who will be notified if you drop your renters insurance policy or change it. Many landlords ask to be listed as interested parties to make sure you’re keeping current with your insurance. It’s straightforward to add your landlord to your
Progressive
policy.
First, be sure to collect relevant information about your landlord including her name and address. You may also need your landlord’s phone number and email.
Go to the Progressive website or check your
renters policy
to find their 1-888-671-4405. Progressive may require that you speak to an agent to add your landlord after the fact. If you’re adding an interested party at the time of taking out your policy, you’ll likely be able to fill out this information online
