I've heard that baking soda can get rid of unwanted and unpleasant car odors. Is this true? If so, how do I remove car odor with baking soda?

You’ve heard correctly! Baking soda is one of the best ways to remove unwanted odors, and most people have it in their cabinets!
Stains and odors in your car are most likely high in PH (and are thus acidic). The baking soda will lower the PH, thus neutralizing the spot of the odor.
Here’s how it’s done:
  • Sprinkle baking soda on upholstery.
  • Let it sit overnight.
  • In the morning, vacuum up the baking soda.
That’s it! Your car will smell as good as new after these simple steps.
