First, you’ll need to wash the window molding with warm water and mild cleanser, like dish soap. Mix equal parts soap and water, then wet a clean cloth and gently wipe the rubber.
Next, saturate a sponge with rubber or vinyl conditioner and wipe the molding thoroughly.
Once you’ve worked the conditioner into the rubber, let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes before applying a second coat. When you’re done, you’ll want to leave your windows down for about four hours.
