How can I prove a tow truck damaged my car?
How can I prove the tow truck is responsible for damage to my vehicle? I called roadside assistance and got a tow. I noticed afterwards that I had some dents on my car.

“You’ll want to reach out to your roadside assistance company directly to inform them about the damage. They are typically liable for any damage that happens to the vehicle while in their care.
The only reason this wouldn’t be true is if you signed a waiver freeing them from responsibility if the vehicle was damaged.
If you have pictures of your vehicle prior to towing, those can be used as proof.
You’ll also want to inform your roadside assistance company as soon as possible. It’s common for customers to submit claims, so the sooner you inform them of possible damage, the better.
If it was one of their drivers, they may elect to handle it immediately. If it was through another towing company, it may take some time to sort out the details and cover the damage.”
