How can I protect my car stereo from theft?
I'm about to buy a new stereo for my car, and it's pretty expensive. I don't live in a bad area, but people's cars do get broken into every once in a while. What’s the best way to prevent thieves from stealing your sound system?

It’s smart that you’re thinking ahead about how to protect your car stereo from theft! Here are some tips:
- Check the doors and windows before getting out of your car
- If you can,park in a safe location
- Get your windows tinted so thieves can’t see inside
- Get a stereo with a removable face
- Don’t put brand-name stickers or hood ornaments on your car
- Keep your amps and subwoofers in the trunk
