You can set up and play Bluetooth music in your 2017 GMC Terrain
in a few simple steps. To use Bluetooth in your vehicle, you’ll need to first pair your smartphone to your Terrain. Start by turning on your vehicle and keeping it in Park. Next, click the ‘Phone’ icon on your GMC’s touchscreen and look for an option to add or connect a new device. On your phone, go to your Bluetooth settings to enable Bluetooth and select your GMC from the list of options.
If the code that’s shown on your phone matches the code on your GMC’s infotainment screen, confirm the match and touch ‘Pair’. You may need to confirm this on your phone and infotainment screen.
Once the pairing is complete, your phone will be connected to your GMC so you can make calls, play music, or send voice-recognition text messages.
It’s also worth checking if your Terrain comes with GMC’s IntelliLink infotainment system—which is equipped with a 7-inch-diagonal color touchscreen and 4G LTE connectivity. If you bought a Nightfall Edition Terrain, then those features will come standard!
