"How can I pay my car loan bill if the lender's autopay doesn’t work with my bank? "

"I just bought a new car and received my first bill. After trying to set up autopay with the lender, I was told that their system doesn’t work with my bank.

I don’t have checks because I always either pay online or with my debit card. What are my options to set up automatic payments?"

“You will need to talk to your lender to see if they will allow you to pay for your

online or over the phone with your debit card. Some lenders allow this and some do not, but either way the payments will not be automatic.
The only way you are going to be able to set up an automatic payment is through your bank if they have a bill-pay service. Most big banks do offer this service, and all the information that you need can be found on your first bill from your auto lender. “
