How can I open the hood of a BMW X5?
I’ve been hearing some funny noises from my engine for the past week, and I want to check them out. However, I’ve never had to check my engine before, and I’m not sure how to open my engine’s hood without damaging it. What’s the best way to open the hood of a BMW X5?

! To open the hood of a
BMW X5
, you’ll want to start by locating the handle in your driver’s footwell. The next steps depend on the age of your car.If your BMW is older than 2012, pull the handle, then go to the hood and find the release handle to open it. Once you’ve done that, you should be all set to check out your engine!
If your BMW is newer than 2012, it’s even easier to open the hood. Just pull the handle in the footwell twice, and that should open the hood right up!
