How can I open the gas tank on a 2020 Honda Odyssey?
I’ve been borrowing my mom’s 2020 Honda Odyssey LX to move some furniture, and I want to return it with a full tank. Unfortunately, I can’t figure out how to open it. What’s the best way to open the gas tank on a Honda Odyssey?

to move some furniture, and I’m sure she’ll appreciate the full tank of gas! While it might seem complicated, you can follow these simple steps to open the gas tank on a 2020 Honda Odyssey:
- Turn off the engine.
- Unlock all the doors.
- Push in on the fuel door, and it should spring open.
Thanks to Honda’s capless design, there is no fuel cap to unscrew, so you can immediately insert the fuel nozzle. After filling the tank, close the fuel door by pushing it inwards until it clicks into place.
