How can I make my car's steering smooth?
I've noticed that my car's steering has been a little jerky recently. I'm worried that this might be a safety hazard, and it's definitely a nuisance if nothing else. Is there any way to make the steering smooth again?

“Good on you for recognizing that this is a serious issue! The first thing you should do is check your car’s power steering fluid. If it’s low, this could be the reason for your poor steering.
Generally, you should check the power steering fluid about once a month as part of your
basic car maintenance schedule
.If this doesn’t solve the problem, you should also check the air in your tires, as low pressure can cause poor steering. If this still doesn’t solve the problem, you may want to take your car to the shop.
No matter what the issue may be, steering is integral to driving a car safely. If you can’t steer, you risk getting into an accident—so make sure you get it fully checked out and taken care of!
